A few months back, when I bought my GG '05
I took it to the dealer to see if they had the front plate frame. (This because I bought it in Texas)

One of the salesman told me that he could sell my car for $36K if I wanted. He told me they sold the MRs at almost $40K when new. (My car had 5K miles.)

Trade ins are almost a no no, make sure he is not overpricing the Viper to compensate his loss.

i think rally red takes the cake in rare, ive only seen 4 availible for sale period on my searches, but im sure there are more. i see WW and GG everytime i search online for MR's

ive even had dealerships tell me Rally Red isnt a MR color, and it MR's come only in EB, WW, GG

The dealership will inflate a trade in price if they have enough markup to work with on the vehicle you are purchasing. I paid '30k' for my 03 in september at mountain, but they gave me a larger trade in on my jetta, about 5k more than any dealer would. They just work the numbers, so I roughly paid 25k OTD
