Evo 8 for sale in Salem Oregon / car lot
Hertz car sales in Salem has a white evo 8 for sale.
If you see the car there is a couple things you might want to know.
When I test drove it, it still had an aftermarket turbo back (no cat they said) but they said they would be returning it to stock. I told them to throw the old stuff in the trunk as the new owner would probably be stoked. They told me they were having the dealer do the work. Later that week when I checked back they told me they got a midas exhaust put on it - ouch.
It had a boost gauge and what sounded like a vented aftermarket BOV. As hard as I got on it it never boosted more than 10 pounds. So there's an issue there too. MBC? wrong vacuum lines? who knows? they didn't seem to care.
Just figured a heads up, hate to see someone drop their cash on a beater.
