I usually do it in 2.5 hrs. Expect 3.

ok.... I just googled it ... 173 mi (about 3 hours 42 mins)

but 3 hours is more realistic then....

n

yeah I'd say 3 hours at the most. I've driven that drive quite a few times, and usually its right about 2.5 hours.

You know, this is funny. I just graduated from the NARS academy in Kansas and was looking at a job in Spokane with BNSF. I may actually look into it now. I'm glad I came across this thread. I was actually considering moving to Gillette Wyoming....blech!

Live on the WEST side of town if you live here.... It is much nicer, more peaceful, cleaner, etc.

yeah, but PIR is right in the middle of the city(portland) pretty much. And you can run tons of events there most of the months of the year. I just like variety!

Man, I grew up in Tigard and know what a great place it still is to live in... Just wish I could afford to move back right now and get a place on Bull Mt before the entire mt is just one big housing community...
