Very SWEEEEEEET!!! Does adding these mods still make it a "stock" turbo though?

-FP upgraded WG actuater
-10.5 hot side
-O2 housing

Very impressive nonetheless. Congrats.

Your an idiot if your even questioning those mods making it a stock turbo.

Hi Jimmy, got up on the wrong side of the bed again? This is/and those parts are, stock for an '04 turbo? I know of '03's only. didn't know when they got upgraded/larger parts for the turbo.

So I am an Idiot, because these are STOCK '04 turbo parts (and I should have known that), and NOT upgrades- fine, or the poster is wrong for passing this off as a Stock turbo. Go back to bed Jim, and try to make some friends today will ya?

Well the turbo is stock. The car is not stock and has all the bolt on listed.

The 10.5hotside is stock on a 05 Turbo, adding it to the 04turbo still make the turbo a stock turbo. The o2 housing wouldn't make a difference in what the turbo is. The actuator just keeps the boost taper to a "minimum". STILL keeping the turbo stock.

Its annoying for someone to question something that they obviously have no clue about. I would think with your huge parts list you would have some knowledge that these parts don't make the turbo non stock.

A stock '04 turbo...........read a list on what that has in it. Mixing and bolting up "other" year turbo parts to an '04 turbo does NOT make it an '04 STOCK turbo now does it? It should read: "Stock like 04/05 mix and matched turbo" still attached to an '04 4G63. It is a Stock '04 turbo, with '05 parts on it. Either way, it is impressive, but I have to ask the judges if this is actually a STOCK '04 Turbo. I say no.

Relax Jim, small detail, again it is an awesome job! Can't take that away from him.

Did a STOCK 04 evo, with zero miles, from the factory, roll off the assembly line with these parts?

-FP upgraded WG actuater
-10.5 hot side
-O2 housing

If they did, then I concede I am retarded. If they didn't, it can't be a STOCK turbo then.

Again, nice job. I am not going to pollute this thread with arguments, and the technicalites.

This is pointing out what the car is "-'04 SSL EVO IIIV Stock turbo"
than he clearly listed that he has a 10.5hotside. That is the only difference between the 03-04 turbo and the 05 turbo, therefore still a stock turbo.

Like I said, I might be retarted. I was not sure when they put the larger hotside on the 16G's. I thought it was in '05. My bad, lets not argue. We need not pollute his thread any. If it came that way from the factory on an '04 it IS STOCK!! I agree with you then. I am not saying anything any more. No arguments when I am low on coffee. OK, THIS IS A STOCK TURBO!!

nice run. you are still over 100% duty cycle. seems like a tuner of your caliber should grasp this.
