might stop by tomorrow, but not dyno. Haven't done anything to the car since the dyno challenge last year, except have the flash tweaked a little.

I found something interesting the other day. I was retuning a car that had been tuned at Kito (not sure who did it) and needed retuned for some new parts and now it had a wideband. Short version of this is the car had last years version of my MIVEC map in it. I have never touched the car, the owner hasnt touched it, just Kito. I am flattered actually that it was there, but it was done incorrectly. For the benefit of the tuner in question you need to remember that the RPM axis MUST BE RESCALED for the map to work correctly. Not rescaling the rpm moves all the advance points to areas where they make no beneficial gains and is probably worse than stock.

John Bradley- You mentioned lastyears MIVEC map....my car has that, my last tune from you was in September 2006, so....since you mentioned lastyears...does that mean you have a new one for 2007 ? I'd love to get it if you do. My mods are in my signature, but I also have an ETS FMIC and a Buschur MBC and a Sun Auto Ignition. Those will be installed this week.

Anyway to get a new tune?

Kevin-I would like to show up, but I have a turbo Honda to finish tuning (hopefully) or at the very least spend more time playing with.

Evil-Yes you certainly can and yes there is. Just like our cars tend to, the MIVEC has continued to evolve over the last year.

Chris-Duggy had told me he didnt think his clutch would hold up. Maybe though?

Did anyone who dyno'd at PINA re-dyno at KITO without making any changes to their car? Curious to see what the conversion between the two is.

Yep i was happy to see my slow automatic right at the 100whp point.
The car really needs to be tuned since the a/f ratio was at 22
Also tranny was slipping to the point they almost gave up on my car.

my clutch is doing better and I think if I put it on the dyno cooled way down I may be able to get a decent pull, so we will see today around 4pm
