Talking Hello all! I have a big show coming up in August! Take a look!

Ok I know I am sort of "the enemy" in the EVO forum but I wanted to invite all of you out with your AWESOME cars! I am a lover of all cars... Though I did have a beef with Mitsu a while back over my crankwalking Eclipse... but I digress....

Here is the Car show info!

I am again writing to extend an invitation to the members of your EVO group for my upcoming "Cruzin for Kids show and shine" event in Tacoma, WA on August 30th!

This event is going to be a great way to get publicity as it is being put on as a benefit for The Mary Bridge Children's Foundation! I will be contacting local Radio stations, TV stations and news papers to get as much coverage on this as possible, I want to make sure everyone knows who donated prizes and who helped sponsor this event! It will also be a great place to display YOUR "pride and joy" along side some of the nicest cars to cruise the NW's streets!

Please know that you DO NOT have to have a "Show Car" to attend! This is a "Cruise in" type of meet so everyone is welcome, no matter what point you’re at with your project at the moment! Often times meets like this are a great place to get ideas that will inspire you to bring your "pride and joy" to a whole new level!! We are car enthusiasts first and foremost, so bring out the cars!

If you could please pass this invitation along to your members I would appreciate it! Below you will find a link to some more information as well as photos of the location where it will be held.

This is an "invitational" type of event so if anyone is interested please have them RSVP me ASAP at Cruzin4Kids@aol.com this will secure them a spot as space is limited and filling up FAST!! **Please put "RSVP" in the Subject line as this will help me keep track of all the entries** Thanks!

So far I have invited a few "clubs" so we should have a nice assortment of cars including, Subarus (my club of coarse), Audis, BMWs, DSMs/EVOs, VWs, Supras and a few others!

Thus far I have also confirmed a few of the sponsors for trophies, and I am now coordinating some really nice prizes, including a set of H&R springs, some products from www.RockBlocker.com and a whole lot more! I have also already spoken with people from

www.Lowered2Perfektion.com
www.GriotsGarage.com
www.WorldOnePerformance.com
www.Achtuning.com
www.TurboXS.com
www.SubaruStore.com
www.NinosAutoAccessories.com

who are all very excited about this event and will donating to the cause! I will have many "door prizes" as well as "show prizes", this way you don't have to have a "show car" to win some pretty cool stuff! My goal is for everyone who shows up with their car to walk away with something nice at the end of the day!

I am also talking with EVO Specific vendors to get some good EVO prizes so we need someone to give them to!

Here is the link for more information including location pics etc!

Hope to see you there, Talk to you soon!

PS The spots are filling up VERY QUICK! So follow the link and RSVP if you want a spot for you! Thanks for the space, hope to see you there!

I hope you can all make it out as it will be a great show!

Sounds like fun. Especially cool because it's for a good cause. I wish I was a little closer then I might show.

How soon do you need a head count? I'm sure many of our club members will be down to help the cause. As I recall, there was another charity event that we were unable to attend due to conflicting schedules and I was hoping for another opportunity. Well here it is! Count me in for sure, and I'm sure more Team Lancer members will attend also!

As soon as you know for sure is fine, I will go ahead and put your name down on the confirmed list for now just let me know if things change.

If you follow the Nasioc link I posted above you can find the list. There is a 100 name cut off and I think I am at about 34 or so right now so there is still lots of space!

Thanks for the support! I look forward to meeting the Team///Lancer NW members!

Subaru isn't the enemy, it's just the competition. The enemy is all the riced out Civics that have Altezza lights and carbon fiber wings that give us a bad name. Actually, they aren't the enemy, they are the devil.

"Cruzin for Kids show and shine"

Team///Lancer NW has the potential of being the largest group at this function ... well at least I think so from the list of people so far.

List of attendees:
Ghostrider email confirmed with HiFiWRX@aol.com
Picklenock email confirmed with HiFiWRX@aol.com
Theory: email confirmed with HiFiWRX@aol.com
Tekkman69 email confirmed with HiFiWRX@aol.com
BrianDaBox
2003Lancer email confirmed with HiFiWRX@aol.com
Nitrous2k3
Chameleon email confirmed with HiFiWRX@aol.com
digdat email confirmed with HiFiWRX@aol.com

I am taking the email confirmation off of the nasioc forums list.

Who is left:
jman425
pop-rox
orangebowl_jad
engineerboy
toofastoz

Anyone that is planning on being at this thing, send an email to Cruzin4Kids@aol.com with RSVP in the subject line. I sent him an email to HiFiWRX@aol.com and was able to RSVP to that address as well: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...readid=387998.

If you just want to show up and chill, its free!

SHOW & SHINE ENTRANCE FEE: $15.00
(from what I read on the above link.)

Who else? The list is growing... I could have swore I saw someone else mention going to this, not sure who it was, I think it was on a different thread, maybe it was on AIM.
