cops....

So i go to Wendy's at midnight and on the way back I pass this cop, who abruptly turns around and stops me........i just left a red light, so I wasn't speeding...the reason, my exhaust, he tells me that he pulled me over because he thought that my car's exhaust was to loud........Then, i told him it was stock, which it is, it was installed as a dealer option, its a WORKS exhaust, he kinda chuckled and said that "this isn't the typical 89 Honda civic I normally pull over". He tells me that he really likes my car, and that its pretty awesome that this car comes with an exhaust like this...of course, i tell him "that isn't the only amazing thing about this car!" oh well, i guess things like this happen when your the only game in town on a Thursday night. It's funny, because i do security in the Navy, and i just applied to the police academy.

Just think, if you get into the academy then you can write yourself tickets for exhaust being to loud.

My first evo ticket I only owned the car for 2 weeks, was on highway 16 thru Purdy. The cop pulled me out of a line of 10 cars, I was literally about 7th in line, he moved 2 cars out of the way to write me a 5 MPH over ticket. I asked the cop if it was the wing is why he pulled me over, and he responded with, "What kind of car is this anyway?"

LOL cops....

Man thats bad...I just stay low and slow by the cops. You should know though that a downpipe wont really make your car any louder but add gobbs more power. I still got my Tanabe one just calling your name

It's the wing that attacts 'um...like a f'n bug-zapper! Doesn't even have to be an Evo, cuz I've had my fair share too.

the DP can be done in a garage if you have minimal mechanical ability

f- the police. I think the majority of one's experience in dealing with cops is going to be adversarial...even if you are not breaking the law. OK, I am biased, but I haven't met any really decent cops.

No respect for them, save big city police...who actually put their life on the line every day.

That was cathartic - got my hate out for the day. Thanks guys!
