plan on raising the thing if you go with a 275 or wider. I cant remember the kids name with the red 8. He has 275's on stock suspension and with one person in the back seat, it rubs.

285/30-18 will fit the best only because the overall height is alot less than stock. Another option are 275/35-18's of course but from personal experience I can tell you that they will rub a little in the front at full lock and the rears will need to be rolled.
I have played around with a bunch of different offsets at various camber angles to see what I can cheat onto the car. and basically you can make 275's fit with up to 22mm in front (RA1's) and about 30 in the rear with how mine are rolled.
I am going to switch to 285/30-18's for street tires for the winter and "street" tires and save my 275/40-17's for track usage pretty much exclusively. What tire are you planning on using?

Well if I were you and laying down the $$$ to get a nice set of wheels and ruin it by putting all seasons on a 9.5in wheel. To me thats just a waste...You should just get some RE01R's for the street and track...trust me those will put a big smile on your face. Then just drop a few hundred on some cheap 8 wheels and some snow tires...hell I have seen some setups go for like $400 bucks...plus that way you dont risk ruining your wheels in the winter. Just my type of thinking though...but its your car.

^Thanks man, but I guess I will let the cat out of the bag. I am getting the Rota P45R. I cant see myself spending the money for volks so this is the next best solution. It may or may not be more work but I like the look of these wheels. There are some questions that need to be answered with these and I have a "wheel guy" that will help me throught he speed bumps. I got a good deal on these wheels and had to get them since they have been on back order for months. As far as tires,,,,, I live in the PNW and the weather sucks. The look I am going for and tire combo will be had. I am sure it will work out for me in the end.

Well if you mean you want a good rain tire the RE01R does really really well and they are reasonably priced for this type of a performance tire (I own 2 sets ) But if you dont have winter wheels and want to drive year around they probably aren't the best option. I dont drive my Evo over here in the winter...thats what my Integra is for...FWD drifting ftw
