Can anyone point me in the direction of rental houses and/or apartment rental listings in the Olympia/Tumwater/Lacey area? Ive been here since February, but Im just now trying to find some places to view listings. I have only found a few and the ones I have found are for HUGE houses that are insanely priced. When I lived in Charlotte, NC it took me a while, but I finally found a site that had a ton of listings, but I cant find anything for this area.

Are there just not very many listings online? I was told by a coworker that she had to actually just drive into areas she liked until she lucked up.

And as you notice most of those are for Seattle area. Im not looking to move to Seattle. Ive searched and searched...Ive founds sites that have listings, but its pretty bare. Im looking for someone who has had personal experience shopping online in the area for places.

Have you tried:

www.move.com
www.rent.com
www.rentals.com

As a test, I just put Olympia into rent.com and it listed a whole bunch that it said were within a few miles of there.

You can try putting "apartments" or something in google and see what listing sites come up.

Also, you can call the city offices and ask if they know of one for the city. I know some cities have their own listing pages.

Actually I think we just got one of those from the store. I think my father-in-law picked us up one. I know I saw a real estate one laying here and its gone now. We are the only ones looking to move so I think someone is trying to just get me to buy a house.

I'm not sure if tried rent.com or not. I will get the lady to do some searching tomorrow while I'm working.
