English Racing E85 Stock Turbo Package = Awesome!

I thought i would post this here since we have this awesome Shop here in the NW So ive been going nuts these few months on wanting to drive a Evo and finally I couldn't take it anymore. Ive got a good Evo friend up here who had Lucas build him a E85 build with basic bolt-on's. They made 401 whp and 366tq.
So i told him i would take over his payments for a few months if he would let me drive her till i get my Drag Car back up and running Man all i can say is WOW the stock turbo is awesome. I'm not use to the dam things spooling so dam fast It really feels like with the E85 it spools up much faster. Ive gone thru 2 tanks of gas in 2 days having a blast with this car.

Now some history with the car it originally had a Al flash and some HKS 272 cams and that was it. Al road tuned her. Did a good job.
My friend came to Lucas wanting more power but had a keep the wife happy budget
2005 evo 8
So Lucas did the following upgrades:
1) Arp Rod bolts
2) Arp Headstuds
3) ETS LICP
4) RC 1000 cc injectors
5) Drop in walbro pump
6) AEM Wideband
7) Perrin Boost Controller

Stock Ecu tuned by Lucas with English Racing. My friend has been to the track only a few times and managed 11.6@120mph which isn't bad at all for being a newb.

If i buy this car im going to leave it as is 120mph in the 1/4mile with this kind of spool up makes for one fun *** daily driver. Now the car has over 10,000 miles with no problems to date whatsoever.

Here is a quick video i made today playing around.

Can you still run regular gas with this setup or are you strictly running E-85? Will this work on an 04 Evo? Also what is the cost?

As soon as it's readily available around Seattle and Yakima I will be having Lucas tune me for E85

I do a gas and E85 flash both but you will need you own flash cable to switch maps. I don't like the idea of flopping back and forth all the time. E85 and just use the gas map for a road trip.

How it maths out for the switch.

$180 255hp fuel pump installed
$380 RC 1000's I feel the RC's are worth the extra money
$ 50 to install the injectors
$300 to tune E85 and pump tune Add $60 if I have to use my WB. You will need a WB for the tune.

I turn off the stock O2 so we can set the cruse up for better MPG. E85 does not mind cruising in the mid 16s afrs and I have gotten as good as 23mph on a cruse.

Since the NW does not seem to do the E70 yet the only problem is under 50deg it take quite a few trys to get her to bark off in the morning.

You have to switch maps and yes it will work on an 04 EVO. I am going to do this once I get a station with E85 closer to me.

Leaded race fuel will eat through your O2 sensors like fat kid on cake; not something you want for DD.

I hope they get E85 in the north end soon so I can run this bad boy set up. Glad you're enjoying the car Paul. Your friend should open an Evo rental car shop.

Just a green note for the E85 too. It's sugar cane based gas, not based off of oil that we're in war over. Using E85 helps get you out of the clutches of mega fuel corperations and spending your money more localized to the US. Support your Hawaiians!!

Can't wait for it to get up here, I'll definately be moving over to it, I'll just keep the laptop in the trunk!

So, if I'm reading this right, I can go from my current 285 hp car to a 400hp car with about $900 in parts/work as long as I don't mind hunting for e85?

What's this do to your mpg?
