Unhappy with Beaverton Mits.
So I dropped by Beaverton Mitsubishi last night, looking for a used evo 8 or 9 or a X if we could work something out. I walked around the lot, made eye contact with two sales associates (one male and one female) and recieved no help. I even went as far as to ask someone and they said they would be right with me. So after 15 mins of standing around I left.
Anyone know of another local dealer for used evos? I am looking to go through a dealer because I need to trade in my S4 and dont have time to try to sell it on my own. Also I need some financing.
Thanks for the help guys

Gettin' back in the game The only positive dealer experience I've ever had was at Herzog-Meier helping my mom buy her R32. You might try Mountain Mitsu if you're willing to drive as I've heard some friends having good experiences there.

Good to hear from ya Tom!
Yeah back in the game so to speak! I am at a lot better place in my life/job now so I figured I would start from scratch with something.
Thanks for the heads up on Mt. Mitsu. I am willing to drive but want to be sure I am not going to be ignored and treated bad by a used car salesman.
Ninja edit: Looks liek Mt. Mitsu went under....anyone else?

Private Sellers > Dealership for used Evo in my opinion. Craigslist, Autotrader, EBay, etc. will give you a much better result for finding the right car for you. As for financing there are plenty of options there too, when I got my Evo I shopped around for auto loan rates with a variety of banks and ended up getting the best rate through a Credit Union (Boeing) turns out you just have to be a WA resident to open an account with them, who knew. Put the time in at your computer and avoid the headache of the dealerships. Also be willing to travel a bit to pick up your car, a cheap flight and a fun roadtrip home can save you thousands sometimes. Motivated sellers are out there.
Just my 2cents.
Jason
P.S. Skip the 8 and go with the 9 -no offense to the 8 owners out there

You get the idea. Internet ftw!
In particular the http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/car/578372998.html add seems like a great price on a very clean Evo IX.

Like I mentioned I have a trade in and dont have time to sell my car so I need to go through a dealer.
I owned a 9 already... I understand the advantages of it, but for the few thousand dollars I would save I would rather buy Ohlins and a 35r kit from Tom and ETS. So I am VERY familiar with the process, but do not know any local dealers.
Thanks anyway

That sucks man, I had a great experience there. You need to just go talk to Mike Jeffers and he will help you out man. Tell him Chris (PDXEVO) sent you, and you will get treated right. I happen too know they just took in an 2005 VIII and an 06 IX. If you need more help let me know.

Beaverton Mitsubishi is by far the worst dealership... Every car there is way overpriced and they had no idea about anything on the 9. The guy told me the ACD changes the ride height and suspension stiffness.
They are total dicks there.
