Oh okay for some reason I thought it was on this dyno. Anyways I am waiting on that too...its only two wire too splice too but it goes away from OEM quality. I may just do it though.

Sig is too long to put in all the info it needs to...going to have to trim the sig in some part . The way I tune the ECU boost is slightly diff than most people to. I am not "hard setting" the WGDC as well as doing correction. The flaw with this approach happens if the car is not spooled and you floor it, the ECU will look at those settings and pre-determine the WGDC. If you tune at WOT from 2500rpm this will mean that in this scenario you are killing spool since the WG isn't at 100. I think it was dudical that was running into these issues with that approach and was hoping for a solution that would keep WG at 100 until overshoot.

Instead i keep that at 100 and depend on the 0.01sec shorted Boost Correction to adjust the Wastegate on the fly. I've gotten a lot less wavvy then when it started (in 3rd) but it still isn't perfect and in 4th on the dyno it didn't behave at all.

was it carburetor connection?(in kirkland)

thats a good shop. they just got an AWD dyno last year sometime cause everyone didnt want to go to FAME in redmond... so carbcon sold there 2 wheel dyno, and got an AWD one. its really nice, in-ground that adjusts to your car axle size. its actually really nice.

I didn't check Kevin's AVC-R to correlate (I should have).
Yeah i,ll ask him about that,,,as for calibratiion of the dyno ,, he calibrates each car to the dyno with rpm and or road speed numbers, and for afrs there is a difference becauce of location of the probe,,,, and from what ive read and seen mustang and dyno dynamic dynos are lower than dynojets. so if you dont stay with one kinda of dyno in one area your gonna
see different numbers, but over all it was fun seeing everone turning out, i,ll have video of sat and sunday coming soon.

Why does he recalibrate the dyno to each car? If its not set the same for all the cars then all the numbers are meaningless. If our cars are the same and my car makes 340whp and yours makes 510whp and I run 10's and you run 11's it doesnt make sense. Dyno Dynamics actually can use a standard correction factor without a need to reset for each car. It makes it a better yardstick for comparing mods to mods.

Dyno day we had alot of different cars,, and alot of different gear ratio,s so because of that we have to set each car up, basically all it is, is rolling the car at 2000rpm and making sure the dyno reads what the car reads, if the car says 40mph and the dyno says 35 with corect the dyno number im not saying i know all about the dyno tho,, i just set this meet up, if any concerns or questions are needed answering, just give him a call. or talk with dyno dynamics, i do know that my car was set up the same way that all the rest were and my numbers were impressive.

Yes it was them . Fame is very very very close to me. As in if I had a good arm I could hit their dyno with a rock. But I've only ever been there once in 2005 when Shiv came out here and tuned a bunch of cars. First Evo meet I went to in the NorthWest incidentally .

Most of the guys that were there don't even have evos anymore (Gary, jj_008, mad_packet etc.).

Yeah I know about the dyno difference. I was on this dyno before and its a 4 hp improvement with a lot less boost (and by a lot less I mean not accidentally running without a WG hose ). Pina is my Dyno Dynamics avg.

The price in kirkland in november was really good, it was a work thing orchestrated by ouminan on here. So I can avg on a dynojet or when I go back on one, or there again.

I need to get one on a mustang now too so then I would have covered the basic ones .

AFRs for me were useless because of the cat, but a bunch of people on here didn't have cats. Be interesting to see what the correlation between their on-board WBs and the dyno's one were.

i was there in the green supra. you see it? i opened the exhaust valve on the way out to make some noise it happens to be the record stock twin HP/TQ supra. first one to break 500whp on stock twins.

Nah I didn't see it/hear it. Unless I am outside you can't hear the cars on the dyno.

My sig is fixed now with the numbers . BB code is really inefficient and was using up a bunch of characters that it didn't need to and thus why I was hitting the limit.
