Anyone recommend a place for an Alarm Install?

So since I'm new to Bellevue/redmond area, I don't really have any contacts here. I used to have my good friend in San Diego do alarm installs for me, but that's no longer possible.

I'm looking to get one of the nicer two way paging systems (compustar, cliffor, autopage) and like remote start. (please don't give me any of the "it's a manual, that's dangerous" talk, I've had them on my cars for 5 years now and understand)

Does anyone have any suggestions of a good place for me to get one installed? I hate to go retail, but since I don't have any hook ups, it's the only option right now. Let me know.

Do yourself a favor and do not go to Car Toys. All they care about is getting your money, they do not care about you or your car.

VTR wants 1199.00 for the Autopage RS1000, and then another 300 for truck release. That's a little bit too expensive for the alarm and install unfortunately. I would expect 600-800 dollars for that range of alarm (comperable to high end clifford, or compustar).

Any other suggestions? I found another dealer for autopage, but unfortunately they won't do remote start, which frustrates me.

Call back and ask for Wayne and say you on calling from the evo m forum. The RS1000 is a sweet alarm, I have it on my Subie. 1 mile range and Autopage actually warranties the key fob.

The cheapest and best place to go is S and S bargain center in Everett, these guys will beat anyones price. I have gone to them for years, numerous system installs and alarm installs. Best part about them is the owner is always down to make a deal with you. Im not sure you could do that at Car Toys.

Are you Wayne? Or anyone who works for VTR?
