Seattle Area Methanol dealers
Tarr Inc. (methanol)
4510 B St #B
Auburn, WA. 98001
253-859-2979
$6.50 a gallon, consumer can purchase in 5 gallon pails
Further north--
Advanced Toys for Trucks (methanol)
12803 Highway 99
Everett, WA. 98204
425-355-5299
$5.00 a gallon, can bring your own container and buy per gallon.
I am starting this thread because there has been some confusion on what is acceptable for "meth" systems after we tune.
We tune for 100% Meth from VP (M1 to be exact). You can tune for mixed amounts but it would be something that would have to be done to begin with and switching to a different percentage afterward is dangerous as it will affect AFR and knock suppression.
"Sprint car meth" is acceptable but again you have to tune for that combo and know that changing fuel will mean that a retune is DEFINITELY NEEDED. I cannot over emphasize how important tuning for what you run is. Changing it either way can be dangerous so its important to keep it consistent. Altering it can lead to severe engine damage if its left for prolonged periods of time.

Any other suggestions for further north? I'm looking around the Bellevue area currently.
Tried Advanced Toys for Trucks and they seem to always be out, or I'd just get it from there. If need be I may just take a trip down to Auburn and get a couple pails.
