Shakotan Matsuri (Japanese Lowered Car Festival)
This is an event that is happening where I live in Boise ID. It is an event featuring a show with the best Japanese cars from all over the surrounding area/states. It will also feature one of the area's best DJ's and a 3v3 break dance competition with a cash prize. Here is the flyer for the event. You don't want to miss it! If you have any question you can reach the event committee at shakotan.info@gmail.com

Damn, you didn't mention this to me Edwin... I might have to stop by. So it's $20 if I just want to drop by & enter my car in?
Is that your VIII's engine in the pic under the Z?

BTW, I just registered & paid last night
Edwin, could I get your opinion on this... I got a really nice install done for my sub & amp at Aspen Sound a couple days ago. They put a carpet Mitsu symbol in the bottom of my trunk & left openings in between the diamonds, so the amp can be seen underneath. The amp glows blue & they are suggesting for me to put neon to make the pocket where the amp & symbol are glow brighter.... too ricey or just right for a car show?

Its an evo. I'm just saying in my opinion they belong on a track with r compound tires tearing up track days. Not adorned with neon lights and big enclosures for overweight subs. I'm not knocking you if that's what your into. Different strokes for different folks. Now I mean if its somethin you can easily take out to do some spirited driving thats a different story.
hope i didn't offend you or anything. You asked a question. I just gave my perspective.

^Nope, not offended. I would love to track, but don't have the cash now & I just got the car less than 1 month ago... I just really like my music w/bass (sub looks bigger 'cuz of tiny *** trunk). But I was really unsure about the neon & on the fence about committing to it. So I'll just tack you on to the votes against it
Sorry for the thread-jack Edwin... Do you have any idea how many cars/people are signed up?
