NWN Barbeque at Marymoor Park, Redmond : AUG. 17TH, 2008

Hi guys, long time no see!

I'm just cross-posting information for this local event. Those of you who came out for our NWN Golden Gardens meet in March will probably remember that it's always a great time with our group! I'd love to see some of you Mitsu guys show out for EvoM!

We like to keep things chill and ensure that we'll be welcome at these places in the future, so please use common sense (no burnouts/revving/racing/etc.). All car makes are welcome, so tell your friends!

Our forum has also put together a quick flyer that can be handed out to others, but is mostly for helping people find the event and to provide information to observers. How many times have you gone to a big meet only to wonder who owns the car you're looking at? Problem solved!

There should be a couple of Skylines and maybe even a real S14 Silvia, but don't expect to see any S15s. Unfortunately, it seems that most of the NW S15 owners parted with their cars sometime last year.

In total, this is currently posted on Northwest Nissans, EvolutionM, Hachiroku.net, 86Exchange, NASIOC, Club Lexus, my.IS, and Nissan Pacific. I've limited my cross-posting to groups that I've actually run with in the past --- how is the Supra Forums group? None of them came out to GG this year, so I haven't had the chance to meet any of them.

We've had some issues with Honda guys doing burnouts and revving engines at meets. This doesn't mean that they're not welcome (any car guy who respects and supports the community is welcome!), just that we're not extending a formal invite to them. Feel free to tell your responsible Honda friends about this event (many of our guys are ex Honda owners!), but hopefully the majority of the ricers will just stay home
