anyone know of a hobby body shop in portland? somewhere where i can bring in my car and work on it? i know how to do body work, but i dont have a shop to work it, and my car needs some serious body work on it.

When my dad was a kid, he said those kind of places were all over the place. Just an open shop where people could rent a bay and work on cars. They'd hang out, build muscle cars and drink beer all night. I wish places like that still existed, but I've never seen one in my 33 years.

Liability is the main problem...we've been toying with it at work for a while but the liability is the problem.

Well, that and cost. Everyone wants the shop to be close to home, and in town, space aint cheap.
