I will be there regardless, but if I can get a new turbo by then, the red 1G will be racing for sure!

Is it starting to smoke? Where are you oiling from?

Yeah it smokes pretty bad now. I know that all it needs is a center-section rebuild. Bearings, seals, and such... It's a journal bearing turbo and I'm feeding it from the oil filter housing. I did the Lucas-style balance shaft eliminator where I put in the stubby shaft, but left the front shaft installed without a belt. Doesn't net oil pressures as high as block off bearings from what I understand. I don't have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge and my stock in-dash gauge hasn't worked in over a year.

So, I am trying to figure out my options here so the car is ready for BOTI Woodburn!

I'm thinking about driving my Talon down.

I had fun at the Seattle event, too bad I red-lighted on the last race

I'm going to swap my fp3 cams back in and see if I can get the car to spool quicker

Has anyone seen a breakdown of the schedule for this event? I'm trying to figure out if the Street classes need to be there both days?

Thanks,
John-

I will be driving down w/ the evo, but not racing. I like to watch at BOTI and Id rather not break anything so I can attempt a track day in the somewhat near future.
