On a GG I'd go 30 or 35%. 20% is nice in the summer but on a dark car 35% will look just as nice. 20% is a ***** to see out at night, especially backing up.

I got 15% on mine all the way around. and I don't have any problems see out at night. I've had 35%, 20%, 5% on some of my old cars at the past, by far the 15% is the perfect dark IMO.
my car actually had 35% on it when I first bought it and I didn't like it, its not dark of enough, so I stripped them down have a local guy re-tinted them for me.

35% is easily noticable trust me. Although 15-20% is pretty dark but does look nice.

Yea my buddie drives an STI and his bro drives a WRX and both got done at SRP. He said their machine has a pattern for the car and cuts the tint automagically.

if i was you id go with 15% or 5%. and im not sure of the name of the place but its off of s.meridian in dt puyallup, they do good work . you want to make sure that they use good tint, not the kind that will fade to a purple color once the sun beats down on it.

good luck.

I wouldn't go lower than 35%, I got pulled over by Federal Way police for illegal window tinting for 35%. Cop wasn't very friendly at all, he had a tintmeter gun on his motorcycle. He told me to look up the law because I always thought 35% was legal, I did and he lost in court.

The 35% is for the film measured against clear glass, the true light transmission on vehicle glass is 24%, the tintmeter gun measured 27% thus meaning the factory glass has a glazing of approx. 8%.

I've had alot of cars in my life and this car gets hassled easily the most out of them all, I've lost alot of respect for law enforcement.
