Anyone know this blue 04 evo 8?

hey, I am looking into buying this 04 evo 8:
http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/ctd/1038418024.html

I think the clutch might be going out and has 50,000 miles on everything, other than that, it is fine.

let me know if you know anything about this car.

Thanks,

Michael

Used to be Edison's old car, search his username. Had Ings kit, Robispec KW's, basic bolt ons and some other stuff. Well taken care of but was tracked some...although not very hard at all. I almost bought it but I think he sold it to somebody else like year and half ago.

You could probably get one less for 21K.

Hard to say, most evo's in WA have been beat or heavily modded. I don't know for a fact but when I drove it the car had about 30k on it and it was stock clutch. I doubt its been changed. I know he took really good care of it and didn't beat on it, I don't know what the last owner did though.

oh yeah, a lot of the ones I have seen aren't in too great of shape... I really don't wanna spend any more than 21k so I might do some more searching. Blue is a pretty rare color though... but I think I would be fine saving 3 or 4k with a different evo that isn't blue.

hahaha, I would love to- only catch is that I have to finance some of it.... If I had the money in cash, I would buy from a private seller without a doubt.

Those guys are major crooks stay away from them. Usually theft or rebuilt cars or something fishy.

yeah, that's what I thought. I like the blue one that they have up there though, a little update on the blue evo from younker mitsubishi/nissan - I told them to get a mechanic to check out the clutch and I would reconsider, that was on Tuesday, and still nothing... fishy? I think so.
