Seattle: What tires are you replacing you stocks with?

I wold be glad to help and possibly work you a deal and show you a couple different tires I would reccomend.
I also second the softer rubber compound. Hydrophilic (sp?) rubber compound is what it is. It a type of rubber compound that will not freeze in winter snowy/icy conditions, unlike your all-seasons that are not hydrophilic. Being softer is not going to change anything. I also, wonder how the "additional" siping is if its under the tread, almost like two tires in one? One sipe would go all the way through, I dont see how they could take the tire down to half life add siping, add the rest of the 50% of the tread add additional siping again? Again, I havn't researched them, that was just some rumors from a couple friends of mine that I heard from. I just know Toyo is very competitive, and have a lot of money into research and design in their tires, to keep up with the rest of the pack, if not, lead it.

Dunlop Graspic DS-2's are a great studless snow, ice, and rain tire. Not a great Autocross tire!! But if you are looking for a cheap year round tire, these are awesome. I drive my evo from SW Wyoming to central Montana with these during the winter and they are awesome. I would get these for fall though early spring and Bridgestone RE-O1R's for summer. It's aa great combo.
