does the ucip fit with stock battery? i might need a mini battery if it doesnt fit

 

The uicp is the small-battery routing. I have an Odyssey that has more cranking power than the stocker. I haven't had any issues with cold weather starting, but it doesn't really get that cold around here (probably helps that I garage it, too).

This is probably my last post before I head to Reno. I will check this when I get back around 8/26 or so.

I looked at the pic, and the damaged bottom of the IC isn't even a tube, it looks like just support metal at the end of the IC itself. The cross flow section is where the smash took place, which wouldn't limit flow at all. IMO it's not even damaged...

 

Thanks everyone! (Jake, Alvin, GT). Got to Reno fine, but a long damn drive. There are a fair amount of Evo's here - saw a BBY with a CF hood the first day here at the In-n-Out, and then again across the city. There is a VP Racing station right down the street from my in-laws, too with 100 at the pump, it appeared!

I saw a bunch of AS Evo's the next day or so - that or I kept running into the same 2 (one VIII one IX). Of course, I have the Pilot here, so not nearly as fun.

I brought the laptop for the kids to watch movies but it turns out a neighbor has an unsecured AP, so I'm stealing the net (shame on me!). Ah well, just quick trips to email and evom, usually.

I'm back from Reno and will PM people that were interested. Everything is pretty much ready to go or will be in the next week (tiny bit of work on the LICP as I forgot to remove a piece from the car and don't have time to do it right now). I'm going on the deception pass cruise tomorrow and might bring a big ol' box of goodies for anyone that might be interested in an impulse buy.

 

Forgot to mention - read the first post for updates. Basically, the FMIC, UICP, and IX turbo are ready to go and I do also have the Buschur intake kit with filter + stock MAF. The LICP will be ready sometime next week.

 

BTW - I'll probably start a new thread next week to start fresh (this isn't a feeler anymore, for example).

I think I just sold the IC, but will update accordingly in the next day or so. The turbo sold last week, btw.

Yes - haven't had much time to get back on. I still have the LICP and the UICP (pending, though). I also have the Buschur intake + MAF + filter, and a boost gauge/column pod.
