Another MS3 --> Evo convert!

Another MS3 --> Evo convert!
Hey, my names Andrew, just rolled in last Friday with my new (to me) RR IX MR. It had 29k on the clock, but after my 900 mile drive home from CA, it's now closer to 31k lol.
So yeah, I bought it in San Rafael, from a dealership (huge risk) for right around 25k. Flew down Thursday afternoon, and drove it back. Got home Friday, right around 2pm. It was a miserable drive to do by yourself, and that's not including the speeding ticket I got on 101 at 1am (first in 4 or 5 years), the skunk I ran over, and the tire I blew out (hit a nail when I pulled over to ****). Other than all of that the car is great hehe.
Also, the PO put spray painted Evo VIII wheels on it, but that'll change soonish.
Heres a few shots of it, as it sits about 5 minutes ago:
Few things to note, I debadged the front last night while I had the bumper skin off. My headlights are not the originals, and the PO did not bolt them down correctly, so I fixed it. Also, the PO removed the light bulbs from behind the HVAC cluster for some reason.... The world may never know! WTFE, going to fix that this week too.
First mods planned: Transfer my Defi gauges from my MS3 over this weekend, or next week, and general maintenance.
Here's a shot of my other car:
It's mods are in my sig.
Also of note, the Evo is slow compared to my MS3... for now.

Ya, did you check the VIN to make sure it an MR? Do the back seats match the fronts?
I bet the guy who traded it in had a buddy with an VIII that wanted the IX stuff.
Needless to say, its a nice looking whip and you'll have fun with it.

Fair Disclosure to the NW EvoM community.
This guy is a raging sasquatch. Dont trust him... He supports lap dancing.
Proof? I've got it right here.... All photo's taken by myself.
(Fair disclosure: My former MS3 is the red one in the photo above)

Congrats on the car man...but I am a little confused...I don't think they made red MRs in 05...but you have Evo 8 rims and Evo 8 seats....umm...
Nice MS3 man...i don't think I've ever seen 1 with a FMIC...How much WHP does it have??

You got the car from San Rafael Mitsu, you're actually in really good hands. They're one of the only stealerships I trust.
These guys do service on my IX and they're awesome, their service manager Peter is top notch.
One of the best things about this shop?:
They work on modded Evos and don't void your warranty. They used to share space with WORKS back before WORKS moved to the Infineon Raceway up in Sonoma.
Grats on the car dude and welcome to the family!

Haha yea it's an 06 MR, with evo 8 wheels and I guess seats too :-/ oh well the price of buying out of state. I have a bit of work to do before the modding really begins, but not worried :-)
And thanks everyone! Hope to meet some of you at some gtg's some weekend.
PS Ryans a liar.. Those pics are a Photoshop!!
