if you like whistler/blackomb, i would recomend this:

its only 40 mins from downtown vancouver. i worked there two seasons ago to be able to ride for free. the powder is awesome. i just keep watching the website for fresh snow. there are different runs according to difficulty, jumps, half pipe blah blah blah. some of the winter olympics events will be held here too but thats not until later. best time to check it out is in mid-late december to jan.

Lucky!! No snow yet here can't wait to go snowboarding this year I'm siked!! Guys got alot of snow there already!

I'm in Monroe so Crystal is a really long drive. So is Blues (?) and Bachelor, I think. Might as well hit Hood if I'm heading Souf.

Yes, yes it is! I don't go as nearly much as I used to - knees and ankles have been giving me problems the last couple seasons. I am slowly getting my 8 year old into it, so that has been fun. He went from not being able to stand the cold to enjoying snowboarding, so I'm not rushing him.
