@Keith: lol - soon enough, though. Are you targetting spring/summer or further out?

@Oleg: fair enough, and good luck!

edit - I'm at 500+whp right now but I'm on the stock block, stock clutch (still holding strong; knock on wood!), and stock 6-spd. So I'm pretty much done until I get to work on a stroker and get myself a new clutch.

It should be soon. As soon as Aaron and the crew is done with the head work. I'm bolting everything back up.

Awesome! FP black has served you well.

very cool! Your car should be beastly when the tires are on the floor again.

I loves me the black! I can't remember if I actually updated my build thread with that, actually. Probably cause I am still debating the S2's, and hope to be running an open dump next month or so.

lol - it wasn't much of a secret and there was a thread that Aaron posted about it, but I will go back and update it. That and the Northend guys won't stop jabber-jawing about it, especially John. "oooh, it sounds like a fuggin' jet engine in that car! I've been in jets and that sounds like a muh-fuggin' jet engine in that fuggin' car!!!"

I think there are some freeway pull videos somewhere on facebook, but I don't really do the facebook.

Yeah, but was he inverted? Did those guys ever throw you some bills to clean up the "love stains" after that ride you gave them?

Welcome to the forums Oleg. You'll have to come out and play with the autocrossers. The 6-spd is plenty strong enough for that. The only issues I've read about are with the track junkies losing 4th gear. Check the calendar thread that Angie aka "The Coordinator" threw up and come hang out.

@ love stains

A few more love rides = clutch goes bye bye = time for a stroker!!!!!!!!! Since I'd imagine you would do both at the same time for convenience.

LMAO @ love stains! Well any rides are typically freeway pulls, but I don't really like doing it. I just imagine the ride going horribly wrong and me ending up on the side of the road with 2 - 3 less than impressed people.
