I'm starting to talk myself into it! I need to do some low-speed suspension tuning, and this would work for that.
2nd gear is brutal in my car though it rips through it in the blink of an eye, I might turn the boost way down. Ryon's car should be pretty quick out there too, what did he think of it?

As far as what days you go on... From what I've heard, if you're a member, you can show up any day that isn't reserved (which means no Saturdays [rental kart series], Sundays [Winter race series]) and they will slot you in.

Look for days that say "Open practice". YMMV and no guarantees of this info, just passing along what I've heard.

Yes me and Ryon were told about the lap record being 1:10 from an s2000, the thing is, they don't really time you, and they don't put the transponders on you, so we could probably figure it out somehow for all of us to get it on, and make it a little competitive ya?

I have GPS datalogging and lap timing in my car so it would be easy to time. If that S2000 ran 1:10.9 I'd be gunning for 1.10.0 was the S2000 on Hoosier A6's or something?
Pretty sure my car would be banging the rev limiter in 3rd gear on those straights. 2nd gear rips your face off.

Here's an out-of-car video from one of Ryon's laps

Can't figure out how to embed? Oh well.

You need that stuff for the little track too!

The S2000 was on V710s, I think. He ran a 1:11.xx on R888s a couple weeks later.
Exit speed is very low coming onto the long straight. 30 MPH, give or take. The fastest cars (aforementioned S2000, Exige S, 430 Scuderia, etc) were getting to about 85-90 before braking.
As for lap times, the Evos and STis don't do well for the same reason they don't do well in auto-x. It's mostly turning. It's a lot of fun though, even if you're slow.
