Pacific GP Lapping Days
Okay, so me and Ryon have been going to these lapping days at the Pacific Raceways Kart Track, and it would be awesome to see some EvoM members make the trek out.
I know that its about $55 to lap from 9am-5pm, with intermittent kart testing in between rounds or "heats". If you bring a spectator, it is near $25 to ride in a car all day.
I hope all of you guys will consider this, it is a great way to learn your car, and what it can do on the track, they also said they can rent the track out daily, so if we get enough of a showing, maybe we can do a private type thing one of these sunny weekends!!!!
Check Www.PacificGP.Com for more information, or to check out their calendar, they have these twice a month, so its more than enough track practice before the real autox events begin!!!!

How much time on-track have you been getting during these days and do you anticipate that time to go down as the weather improves (if ever) and more people come out to kart?

Well the last time we went, Ryon got a lot of time driving, I was just spectating, the heat system they talk about is non-existent, they just do rounds of 15 mins and anyone who is there signed up to race can hop on track. As for how much time, i'd say 30 mins every hour, so if its from 9-5 you should get 4 hours total on any given lapping day! The Kart guys will be there always but it still stays the same on how much time you'll get!

We should turn this into a meet. Wednesday March 24th is the only Car Lapping day I see on their calendar for this month. Weekdays probably don't work a lot of people but I'd be down for this.

We have some GoPro footage that i'll be posting up pretty soon, its good fun, cheap, and you can learn a lot about your car. For those who don't want to spend $250 on a class, and $250 to race at the "big tracks" yet, it is a good experience.
