Ever think that maybe they didnt stop you for the loud exhaust?--you said in your second post that you were in a parking lot-- I assume at night--since the cops had flash lights? Maybe that was just the excuse they used to check out what you were doing there--they just need a reason--ANY reason to ask for your license-- they had an option of not giving you the ticket --but it was simpler to give you a ticket for the exhaust then explain what they were looking for-- think about it.

i was in the parking lot for literally less than 1 minute! The cop didn't even enter my plate, he straight up passes me turns around and pulls me over and says "your exhaust is way to loud, thats a modified exhaust" so he wrote me a ticket. Its cool tho, you might be right i wouldnt be surprised if that was just an excuse, he prolly heard my cams rumblin hahaha
