Group car wash: 5/30 South Bellevue
Hi all,
I tried to organize a group car wash a while ago but you all complained about the date. Well nothing is on the "calendar of events" thread for this weekend.
Traditionally I open up my garage to friends from whatever forum I havent been banned from (yet).
In the past a group of 5-10 cars at max works best, and donations are gladly accepted although not required. Sometimes people have brought BBQ's or the like and we turned it into a mini-meet with some brew, food (bacon) and cars.
What I offer: 3-4 car driveway and 2-car garage for you to wash/detail/touch up your car. I am on-site to provide instruction/input and teach you how to keep your car clean or take care of some localized issues with your paint. I am more than happy to bring your car into the garage and do paint correction and the waxing. I am also supplying the chemicals and equipment (hence the mention of donations above).
What I dont offer: I'm not detailing your entire car, nor are you using the garage for an extended period of time as its required for polishing/waxing. Driveway time is pretty much unlimited and the cul de sac has plenty of room for everybody to park. Also, due to an issue last summer modding your car will not be allowed in the garage as it ended up taking up a spot all day long
I always encourage people to assist others with cleaning their cars as it makes things go faster and your not sitting around waiting forever.
Afterward its always fun to do a photoshoot with all the newly cleaned cars and there are plenty of photo opportunities nearby (note: i'm not much of a photographer but do have a Sony A200 we can use, but will need input on how to use it properly)
Weather forecast for Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65
Chime in if your interested in attending!
Space is first come first served and the garage will be open at 10am but respectfully ask that those who attend arrive before 3pm. This will allow me to clean up the garage a bit, get some photos in for those who end up hanging out and let me get to the Formula 1 race at some friends house.

not sure of the calendar of events thread, but there is a bbq @ boss innovations on Sunday I think. If my car were running and I wasn't busy with family this weekend, I'd be down.
