Tint

Anyone know any good window tint shops in or near-ish to Kitsap County? I want to get 20% on side and rear windows, and 50% on the windshield.

It reduces alot of glare and I've never had any issue with visibility w/ 50% on the windshield. I've done it on the last 3 cars I've owned and loved it.

It is illegal in WA. 50% is way overkill IMO. I almost did 90% on my SuperDuty but glad I didn't (it was already too dark).

In WA I think it's only legal to tint the top 6" of the windshield. Mine is on my MS3, 18% all the way around (not legal lol)

Its pretty much illegal everywhere, though I've never been popped for it. I put 50% on the windshield on my S2k, with limo everywhere else, kept the temps down inside quite nicely. I've only got one ticket for tint ever, which was in the middle of no where in the Arizona desert of all places. It was for my windows, cop didnt even notice the windshield, most people don't.

^It amazes me that it is even allowed, though I suppose who cares in ND.

Also, indirectly you were popped for the front. I would bet if your front wasn't tinted the cop wouldn't have noticed how dark your sides are. Without letting in 50% light on the front, the sides and reare will look that much darker!

Personally that is just too dark for me for nighttime driving. On my SD I had 5% tint over factory smoked glass (35%). It was so dark you could barely see the dome light on when outside of the truck. I did almost change lanes into a car while on 405N once.

Yea maybe. S2k windows are tiny as hell, might be a bit more obvious on an Evo.

I have 30% on all and 50% on my front. Never had an issue. On times I've been pulled over I roll all my windows down. If asked why, I would tell them cause I was giving them the courtesy of seeing everything in the car.
