Opinions on front bumper license plate holes
Just wanted to post this question to anyone who might be able to assist me.
I removed my front license plate, and now have these 3 holes (quarter sized) on my left front bumper. Local bodyshops here estimated around $800 to have it filled and repaired.
If anybody has any other ideas other than vinyl stickers, then let me know. Otherwise, I might be looking into an aftermarket replacement.

Buy a bumper off of someone who just upgraded theirs for less than half that, have it resprayed in case it isn't the right color and call it a day.
Or, spend a couple hundred more and get a C-West front bumper, and have it painted to match.
Or put the license plate back on.

Thanks for all the feedback.
I originally had NJ tags when I bought the Evo, but since then I registered it back to my home state of Michigan, so no more need for a front plate.
I've come up with a temporary solution by using the bottoms of plastic chairs. It's not perfect but it will suffice until I decide on what front bumper to go with.

^lol - nice temp fix! You should talk to metalmillinium (I think that is his alias). He works at a shop in the kirkland area and might have a better quote for you.
I guess the question is how good do you want it to look? Those shouldn't be too difficult to patch, but it will take time to get it just right, and then it would need to be painted properly (I'm no paint wiz).

^haha
@ apex VIII, I have not gotten a ticket for no front plate, and I've been pulled over for other issues too, and never even a mention. Some areas are more strict than others, though. E.g. - Oak Harbor are sticklers on it, apparently.

I wonder if you could just trim the edges of the plate and secure it to the passenger side sunscreen. Then flip it down (when needed) to prominently display it in your front windshield.

I can't recall exactly what the RCW reads, but it has something to do with the placement of the plate, and inside the cabin doesn't work per the law, IIRC. I want to say it has to do with distance from the ground, or something like that. Which may not apply to some jacked up truck.

4 feet, the only real question is whether inside the front window qualifies as 'the front of the vehilcle'
