Or just go to best buy and barter with the sales guy and say that wallmart will give you the tv for $520 or what ever the price of the tv is go $100 less. Worked for me on a 32" 1080 p 120 htrz (I paid $530 out the door-tv was priced at $650 + tax)

agreed, i have a 40" samsung 6000 series LED tv. (Korean version), but must say its a great tv. I know enough korean to get somewhat through the menus lol. but picture quality is top notch. i would definitely recommend. When i get back to the states, im probably pick up the u.s version and a newer bigger size.

Personally for the price and the reviews I would purchase a 50in or larger Panasonic plasma. They may not have the appeal of the the LED TV but they are arguably the best picture quality you can achieve albeit a Pioneer Kuro. Black levels are better as is the color depth. Both my father and myself have fairly dedicated home theaters and he has the 50in Kuro and I have the 50in Panasonic (highest 2009 model). If I were to give his Kuro a 10/10 rating I would give the Panny a 9/10 rating but the Kuro was $3k and the Panny only $1700. I would also take a look at Samsung's new offerings as well. Seems their 2010+ panels have got a lot better reliability ranking, their earlier models weren't the greatest.
Is their a particular reason you are dead set on the Sony? By all means good I just think they are overpriced considering most of Samsungs and Panasonics tend to rank better. I'm not sure about their newest models though, haven't looked in a few months. Also diddo on Fry's, they have awesome deals. Usually Amazon vendors like 6ave or Electronics Expo are better though. Even Newegg tends to have good deals...which is where I bought mine.

I searched all around and ended up getting it from Best Buy... they were able to beat all the online prices.
46" LED LCD EX7 Tv. Its nuts. I really like it. then again I'm coming from a 1980's mitsubishi TV that was maybe a 22" TV lol. So anything's better than what I had.
I think of TV's like Shocks... you get what you pay for
