New owner of 2011 EVO GSR

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new Evo owner. I've wanted an evo ever since I new about them (when I was like 12, before they started importing them to the US) and I finally got one!

I originally signed up for this site when I got my first real job and was trying to decide which car to buy. I ended up getting a 350Z (for shame, i know...). Then a few years later I tried trading in my Z for an Evo IX but I couldn't find a deal where I wasn't getting ripped off. I ended up driving the Z for about another year before selling it. Then I don't know what got into me, I bought a Lexus IS350 (for shame again...). But on Friday I traded it in for a EvoX, so I'm fixed now!

I got the car with 7 miles on it, fresh off the boat

Still on break in miles, currently at 326. I took it on some back road on the peninsula near bremerton and it was a blast, even staying under 4k and no more than half throttle.

anyway, here are a few crappy iphone pics of her

I recognize your name off the my350Z forums. Did you by chance have a red Nismo? I'm still on there myself. Contemplated selling my IX to build a GTM supercharged Nismo. Seems that shop has gotten too busy for their workload so I gave up.

How you liking the X though compared to the Z?

I had a black 07 on my350z.com. I still go lurk around there once in a while, don't really post on there anymore though.

I can't really give a comparison between the 2 yet cause I'm still on break in for the evo. But they're really 2 completely different cars. The main thing I like better about evo is that you can add real power without spending a small fortune. bolt on's don't really do much on z's so the only way to get power is to go fi, and thats expensive...

I'll post up my comparison between the 2 in this thread when i get more miles on the evo
