Hey i was just woundering if insurance goes up if ur car is stolen.. most common response when i ask people is.. depends on situation. if doors r unlocked, where it is, blah blah... Anyone have some Info for me? my girls car got stolen In her driveway, Doors locked, windows up, and her keys with her. and shes freakin out cause if insurance goes any higher she will lose license ( parents )..

Hope this helps. If your car was stolen and you had nothing to do with it your insurance should not go up. Your insurance can go up if your car makes the high theft list for your area. Like in MA if you own an Acura Integra your insurance is like 500.00 higher then everyone else. Most of the time insurance will only go up in a moving violations or accidents that are your fault.
