What can you tell me about Puyallup
Hello,
I have taken a travel assignment at Good Samaritan Hospital and will be moving up there at the end of the month. I am familiar with the Seattle area as my wife is from there, but don't know much about Puyallup.
Is there a good part of town I should look to stay in. I will be bringing my Evo with me and would like to find a nicer area to stay in.

lotsa white trash in Puyallup, depending on where you go. I think if you find a nice established neighborhood to live in you shouldn't have an issue. My wife's uncle used to live close to the red x in the screen shot, and it always seemed decent there.

I've lived in puyallup for 12 years. I would suggest the south hill area. There are several nice homes for sale. The thing I like about south hill is that there is a little bit of everything on the hill so you usually don't need to go too far to find things.

The best thing I found in Puyallup is the Power House Brew Pub, its in old down town, really cool old building, oh and they have beer to. Welcome back to the n.w., good time to find a cheap rental house, check edgewood and milton too as they are only 5 miles away.

Puyallup is not bad at all. They have a little bit of everything around South Hill Mall. Oh hell, they even have Krispy Kreme. No one is likely gonna rob you, kill you, or car jack your Evo while you are there. Good luck.

Nice, thanks for all of the info. The wife just got a position at St Pete? in Olympia. We may be looking in the middle somewhere. She mentioned Lakewood or Midland. I don't know for sure, but we will only be here for 26 weeks, so we won't be buying a house or anything.
On a side note, how is NASA up in the PNW? I will be running in TTA, and was just curious how active the area was.
Edit: Nevermind, just read that the closest region is Norcal. Oh well, when do tracks start open back up there.
