Need asap, as in Saturday, used 9 turbo

Machine shop quoted me 60 to remove 4 broken studs, had they o2 studs removed too, so 9 total, and now they want 675. No bueno. I need a used 9 turbo with no damage. Hopefully on Saturday. PM me your prices!

Yup lol sucky part is the work is done. They never gave my bro a quote or anything.

I would get some written quotes from other shops and offer to pay them the average price of what 3 other shops would charge. if they still hold you to $675 then I would "encourage" them further with threatening action for price gouging and going to a lawyer as they didnt provide a quote for normal services and they are charging you unreasonable prices after work was performed without a written estimate.

Did they remove the turbo from the car too, or are they seriously trying to charge you $675 for just removing studs from a turbo?

Did it take them 10 hours? What is their justification? I would tell them to **** off and give them the original $60 you were quoted.
