Drive for Japan Sponsored by Team Street Stylistics
Team Street Stylistics is hosting a Drive for Japan this Saturday 19Mar2011. A lot of us members of the small race/show team have family and friends in Japan and are going to go down to the Seattle Red Cross to donate money to the Japan Relief Fund. The north end guys (Evo and other car owners) are going to meet up around 10:30am and start driving south to Everett. The second meeting spot will be at the Everett Mall at around noon. We will continue south and meet at various spots to try and get as many people together as possible. Donations are welcome by anyone and will be accepted at any time during the drive. I will be providing receipts to anyone donating and I will post the total amount on our website HERE and on EvoM. We will also be putting up pics and vids of the drive on here and on the above site. If there is anyone interested in joining the drive please feel free to contact me on here or the above linked site, I will be check both. Also if anyone wants my cell number (for those who don't already have it) please PM me and I'll provide it. Meeting spot ideas are more then welcome so please provide any you can think of.
Thank you,
The Other Aaron

Yes they did!
Japan:
The Japanese Foreign Ministry said that it would provide $200,000 to the American Red Cross to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina. Japan also identified needs in affected regions via the U.S. government and provided up to $1,000,000 in emergency supplies such as tents, blankets and power generators if they receive requests from the U.S. for such assistance. Private and corporate donations totaled over $13,000,000. One Japanese individual, Takashi Endo, donated USD $1,000,000 from his personal funds to Katrina relief efforts.

Please don't let the "donation" turn anyone away from joining the cruise. We know times are tough for everyone but that don't mean we cant have a fun car meet and show our support by having a good turnout. Donations are not a manditory nor are they going to be solicited by anyone at the meet, we just want to show our support and let Japan know that we care.
