Ok you guys, I just got the dump installed today and went to test drive the car and noticed my defi boost gauge is only reading 20psi at WOT, but the car keeps pulling like if it's at a higher psi setting? Any sugguestions, I did use a divorce gasket and feel alittle bit of air coming from the dump at idle.

Did you check preload on the WGA? My only guess would be the wastegate is open a lil and leaking. Might also want to log boost, or keep your eyes set on your boost gauge; I was getting boost creep with my o2 dump. It would basically spike to 20psi then creep to 30psi out the top. You should be able to tell if its creeping though pretty easy so that may not be your case.

I had a bunch made... but between Kessler and myself and our habit of changing turbochargers so frequently...I've used a lot of them up. I'll redo my cad file and get a bunch more made so people can get them.

That SS gasket doesn't compress much does it :P

Why would the waste gate open alittle and how would I adjust it? It wasn't touched on the install. :/

I also was keepin my eye on the gauge, no creep just sits at 20psi at full boost

I like checkin the preload every time I eff with the turbo - http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...td-setting.mpg

If it's not going past 20psi at 6-7k rpm then it's not creeping. You should be good.

I've never ran open dump on an internally gated turbo. it just doesn't sound right.

if I ever do a real mans turbo (8374), then i'll run a dump off an external gate like I did on my old turbo neon

I tried that copper spray and it didn't work and i can't find the gasket any where. Any one here know where i can get one asap?
