CF Hood Help
I've got a guy that wants to trade his CF X Hood for my stock hood, only issue is that there are no washer nozzle holes drilled.
Is there a local shop you guys would trust to drill in the CF and install them?

(My day job involves machining carbon fiber on CNC machines)
I would do it myself using the appropriate sized carbide drill bit and some water for coolant. Put the water in a spray bottle, and apply blue 3M painters tape to both sides of where the hole is to be drilled. Mark, drill, remove tape and deburr with a bit of fine sandpaper. Done
McMaster Carr would be a good easy source for carbide drill bits if you don't want to try to find them locally (I just order from McMaster since I'm lazy).

Do you really use the washer nozzles that often? lol I don't think ive used them more then a hand full of times in the 8 years ive been driving. Just pay some bums to wash your windows once and awhile.

I hope the CF hood isn't a Seibon... they suck. Mine cracked and so has several others that I know of. I have to replace mine with something else. :-\
Let me see pics of it once you have it on your RA... I'll be curious to see if I want to do that for my girl's SB RA.

Get the washers that attach to the wipers like on some of the GM cars. Get rid of the ones on the hood, it looks cleaner and you wouldnt have to drill into the hood.
Edit: Also, I would stick with the stock hood, its pretty light already. I had a CF hood on my Talon and I got tired of it and went back to stock.
