Olympus Rally Spectator info - important notes!
For those of you who are going to spectate at the Olympus Rally, the spectator guide is available for download at http://www.rally-america.com/VenueFi...or%20Guide.pdf
You can also get to the link at http://www.rally-america.com/events/2011/OLYMPUS/
IMPORTANT NOTES ON THE SPECTATOR GUIDE:
Unfortunately, the guide went to print a month before the rally.
1. Crane Creek stage (Spectator C, Sunday May 1st) has been cancelled due to snow and poor road conditions.
2. Brooklyn Stage and Taholah stages are the only Official Spectator stages. You have to transit through stage to get to the spectator viewing area.
PLEASE BE AT THE SPECTATOR AREA 1 HOUR BEFORE THE FIRST CAR START TIME, AS LISTED IN THE EVENT SCHEDULE. The road will be closed to traffic an hour before the first car start time. For example, Brooklyn stage is scheduled to run at 1:53. Road will close at 12:53.
Be prepared to stay at spectator area for both stage runs. You will not be given the opportunity to leave between stages.
3. Bring food, water, dress for NW weather and have a great time!!

Just a reminder to be at the spectator areas early if you're coming out this weekend! Should be a blast!!!!!
Aim to be at Brooklyn Stage on Saturday by 12:45PM or earlier - the earlier you get there, the closer you get to park to the stage road.
Aim to be at Taholah Stage no later than 10:30AM on Sunday. Again, earlier is better!
Please, no alcohol and leave the area better than you found it. It's getting harder to get road-use permits these days, and we want the landowners to invite us back.
I left a stack of spectator guide at Walker Renton Subaru if you want to pick one up. You can also get one at Parc Expose at Ocean Shores Convention Center (8-9AM Sat/7-8AM Sun).
Have fun out there!!!
