Rest in peace Matt and condolences to his damily and friends. Im almost glad I wasn't able to attend this as a volunteer as planned (financial reasons). I wouldn't be able to handle the fact of something like this happening at an event I was part of even though there is great risk involved with the sport.

Really sucks, and the announcer at the spectator stage was talking about this dude so much; and about how awesome he was to others around him and that he was a great person in general (all prior to the accident). Mad Matt Marker, who wrecked like 34 cars or something like that. Very sad to hear.
