Anyone know anything about Ishii Motor Industries?

I've been doing a bit of research on shops near and around my work that would be willing to do some modifications for me, and I found this place called Ishii Motor Industries nearby.

http://www.yelp.com/biz/ishii-motor-...:auto%20tuning

I decided to run down the shop and look around and they were open. I met Steve, the guy that runs it, and he sounds legit. I guess he worked for HKS in japan for a while, just got back from doing mechanic work over there for years and decided to open his own place here.

Anyways he brought me into the shop and showed me a bunch of work hes done, apparently hes got a super fast ae86 in there =).

Anyways, he has worked one evos, has a regular evo x that comes in all the time. He said I could just ship parts right to them, and they would take care of things for me.

Have any of you heard of this shop or know anything about it?

Thanks.

p.s.

I recently spoke to my friend glenn who used to post here. I worked with him over at SOE, i think had a gg 9. He recommended West Werks.

What modifications are you looking to do?

If your on the east side and want a shop in the east side for maintenance/basic installs I also recommend West Werks. Have been going there for 4 years now. They see a lot of Evos.

Those are all jobs that you can on your own man.

The intake: 30 minute job if you have never done it before

exhaust...with jacks & jack stands an hour or 2

and lowering springs will take about 3 hours or so....there are how to's on the general forums

Got an idea..... Save the money on installs and go to harbor freight and buy tools to do it yourself.

Just bought the two-ton low profile jack from there.

I've never used a real car jack, only the aluminum racing jacks...holy ****, steel jacks are HEAVY.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I'm sure I could install this stuff myself, on my own time, but I don't see any harm in researching local shops to do it.

I can get the job done while I'm at work, I'd be supporting local business, and the job would be done by a professional, not a game designer.

*shrug*

I've met Steve @ Ishii. Very smart guy, very capable, VERY competant, and I would trust him to work on my car. I can't say that for 99% of the shops out there. I got to meet Cam (tech) while I was there too, we spoke about some customer cars and bs'd about snowboarding and doing things we regret.

They did a LOT of work getting my good friend Marshall Hagen's dad's MKIV Supra together for a dyno session 2 weeks ago. Very clean work, didn't just do the job at hand, but cleaned up things at the same time.

Picture of the front of the shop. Just a quick pic of the Supras that he had at the shop when we stopped by on Saturday with Stu's GTR
