20% tint is where you should start, IMO. Even lower is better, unless you have vision problems @ night. BTW - I assume you know about the felt strip devgamer? I think I read something about X's needing that?
BTW - that matte blue is crazy! Would have to see it in person, but the pics look great!

Sorry for the threadjack.
I had the same debate you have now. My rear doors and quarters were torn up from running wide tires and no flaps at the track. I was going to repaint (recommend Bel-Kirk), but then I would also have to do rock blocker on the rear doors/ quarter panels. I was looking at way more to repaint and then rock block, so I opted to just wrap. I have two layers so it is super thick, Jake special ordered all the film and then had the matte laminated to the blue so he wouldn't have to double wrap the car and I wouldn't have to double pay.

^that sounds like a great option from Jake. The car looked great! I never saw who you were until you were leaving (I think you're the guy with the dreads?). BTW - how do you wash it after wrapping, just wash it with soap/water? Any special process you have to go through?
Tim, I'd definitely go wrap after seeing the car in person!

Yep, the guy with the dreads. You can wash it like normal, Jake's words were "Care for it like a high price paint job" I am in a loft right now so I don't have access to a hose ect. to do a full wash, but I have been going to the touchless spray washes. The vinyl doesn't hold on to dirt like regular paint, using just the pressure soap gets all of the regular road grime off.

Wrap is nice because its not a perminant deal so after a few years you can go back to OEM paint of switch it up.
