a more accurate history lesson is:
- Dan needed a picture of a hole in the ground for comparison
- Dan used google images
- Dan found massive hole in the ground that stood out from the rest
- Dan linked to said picture of massive hole in the ground picture in this thread
Actually, they aren't sure what caused this particular hole. This is from Guatemala and it occurred in 2010. A typical sink hole is what Andrew was referring to but this particular hole is ~330ft deep, and they partially blame the rainwaters from Tropical Storm Agatha for it. There was another hole that opened up in 2007 in a nearby location that was blamed on a faulty sewage system. Officials had no comment, other than to say "these holes are really crappy." I don't get it?
