Yea IDK about that place - they gave my buddies WRX back to him with no brakes after building a 2.5 for him. They also stuck an Outback sticker ON his car without even asking him

I've used them for a number of small jobs and never had an issue... thats my experience with them...

what exactly do you mean by no brakes?

Dunno, he had the use the e-brake the entire way home beacuse he had no brakes. Ended up rebuilding the two front calipers because they were seized.

so I'm not really defending them at this point, but why didn't he say something when he was there... I mean its not like you realize your brakes are gone half way home... thats something you notice right away... I'm not trying to justify Outback in anyway, just saying... and personally I'd b*tch about the sticker as soon as I saw it

but I've only had positive experiences with them, so I'll keep using them till I have a reason not to... their prices are great

BTW, Drift Office is another place where you can do a clutch install

That's exactly what happened; dude gives him the keys, closes up shop and jets. They obviously never even test drove the car after installing the new motor or they would have noticed the brakes didn't work I could go on and on about it. Just the facts - at least we have lots of other shops to pick from around here, mostly down south though *cough cough*

He's taking his WRX to Surgeline to get it tuned and for future work (I said DO would work too).

I'm glad they took care of you, we just had the exact opposite experience.
