I copied my listing I have posted on Craigslist on to here, and then added somemore info. I am a very honest seller and I have a very positive feedback rating on here and on Ebay (same user name) It says $17000 kinda firm for the price, but for the Evom guys I can sell it a little cheaper than that so send some offers my way.

I am selling my 2005 Pontiac GTO. It is Quick Silver Metalic in color, with black leather interior. It has 58k miles and runs very well. It has the 6.0l Iron block (LQ9 from SS truck, same as the LS2 except in iron version for the trucks) engine with the T56 6 speed transmission and 3.46 stock rear gears with pozi diff. It has an air intake filter with heat sheild to seperate the filter from the underhood air. It has the stock exhaust manifolds and cat converters, but custom cat back exhaust, 2.5 inch diameter with X pipe going into Flowmaster 40's mufflers (dual exhaust). The rear springs have drag bags installed to help keep the rear of the vehicle from squatting when accelerating. The car is also equiped stock with traction control. Tires are 245-45-r17 and all have really good tread left on them.

The interior is really great condition. There are no rips or tears in the leather seats. All the power options, seats, windows, mirrors, steering wheel controls, work very well. It also has a factory 6 disk indash cd changer that functions correctly. The carpet was completely covered with the thick, clear plastic covering that dealerships install on vehilces to protect the carpet, so the carpeting is in brand new shape. (carpet is still covered in plastic, as with the floor mats) The heat and A/c work wonderfully and it even has ac/heat vents for the rear passangers. The only bad that is with the interior is on the rear seat back (passenger side) 1 of the seams for leather seat is starting to come unstitched, which is very common for GTO's and if I didnt point it out you would most likely never know it, and the felt on the door panel (passenger side only) is starting to sag (which I believe I can repair the felt really simpily but wanted to mention)

The condition of the car is is fairly well condition, but has a few nicks and dings for a vehicle that has 58k miles. The hood had strippes painted on it black (Phantom Metalic black), but I am having the hood repainted professionally back to stock appearance (back to all solid QuickSilver metalic) But the current pictures still show the strips. It will have an all silver hood when sold. The hood was not damaged in any way. The hood was stripped down to the metal/stock primer and repainted back to factory color and is being reinstalled not (march 31, 2010) The front grilles and rear valance have been painted gloss black instead of the grey plastic that comes stock.

Autocheck shows that I am the 2nd owner of the car, other than the original dealership, and the dealership I purchased it at. It is clean and clear from any accidents or wrecks. I have really enjoyed owning this GTO and it will bring alot of satisfaction to the next owner. I have the title free and clear from any loans or leins, and I am asking $17000, kinda firm on the price but will entertain offers. I do not want trades unless it is for a 2003-2006 Lancer Evolution or a 2001-2004 Corvette with 6 speed.

I will have newer pictures once I get the hood back and on the car, and I will be able to take more in detailed interior and underhood pictures too.

Why is this looking so tempting to me right now? I've been having thoughts of trading the Evo for some ls powered goodness. God I want this car, lol.

What all does it have besides the exhaust, and rear air bags???

and the intake filter/shield. I am debating on letting the ripshifter go with it, but it is a 400 shifter. I have other performace parts available for the car, but they are not included at this price.

I saw the car on Craigslist yesterday in my search for a GTO or LS1 Camaro.

I didn't know you lived in Easley man. I'm down in Union, and use Easley Mitsu constantly, lol.

Can I ask why you are wanting to get away from the Goat and go back to a Evo? I'm trying to see if I should get one and get rid of the Evo, but am wondering why you are wanting back to the Evo world.

I didnt want to leave the Evo community, but last year when the car economy busted, I didnt think I could afford both the Evo and the GTO, so I sold the Evo (as I just go the GTO at the time). I was looking for a c5 z06 before I got the GTO. The GTO fell into my lap at a time where I was going to spend the same $$ for a FRC corvette as I would if I bought the GTO, so newer car, lesser mileage, and better engine is the way I went.
