FS/WTT 1985 Ford Mustang GT (last year of the carb. 5.0)
This is not a joke. I have a 1985 GT also known as "4 eye,"for sale or trade. The car has about 130k on the body but no rust and it is a very clean example of one the last true Pony Cars. If you're a Mustang enthusiast you know how light and fun these cars are. I have always been a Mustang fan and this one was my fourth. Out of all of them, this was my favorite. I first started with the suspension with plans to move on from there. Mods are as follows...
Full tubular k-member
Tubular a-arms
Adjustable front coilovers with KYB shocks
99+ GT front five lug conversion (early Mustangs weren't known for their stellar brakes so an upgrade to 99+ GT spindles and hubs with floating discs were a must)
Adjustable camber and caster plates.
Rear 5 lug conversion was done with Ford Ranger axles and drums
Interior...
Stock interior which is in very good shape for a mid 80's car.
Engine...
Stock also except for a newly rebuilt Holley aftermarket 650 carb. I had this car listed in the Northern VA area craigslist for $4,500 but literally got 3 calls from interested but clueless kids. The reason for letting the car go is because my Evo was in an accident 2 years ago and I'm itching to get it back on the road, even at the expense of the Mustang.
*I am open to offers. The car must go!!! Willing to trade for parts for an Evo 8, a decent GSXR 1000, or good old $. Pics will be up tomorrow...
