2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5rs Coupe w/ EJ257 STi swap - Aspen white
I'm selling a 01 Impreza 2.5rSTi Coupe, 5 speed - Aspen white with 117,500 miles. The car has a clean NM title. The car was originally STM but the paint was fading real bad so I shaved the door moldings and repainted it. I should have all the seats and trim reinstalled this week. I just painted the car about 2 weeks ago (first time) and being that it was done in a home/garage environment, it did pick up some dust and the car needs to be colorsanded and buffed (a claybar may do the trick in getting some of the grit out of the paint. I may do this if time permits but school just started back up for the summer semester so time is scarce.
For the most part, the car is completely stock with the exception of a 3" bellmouth downpipe. Currently has a HKS hipower catback but it is already sold and spoken for so a stock 05 STi exhaust will be going back on. Passes OBD2 emissions with no problems. This car is my daily driver and is extremely reliable. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it out of state.
ARP Headstuds as well as head gaskets water pump, tstat, timing belt, and tensioner were done approx 3k miles ago.

-05 EJ257 Full STi longblock swap with AVCS and Drive by-wire - uses a 04 STi ecu to eliminate the need for an immobilizer.
-ACT street clutch
-3" bellmouth downpipe
-ARP Headstuds
-Perring overflow tank
-M4iF fender braces
-OEM Goldies
-Yokohama YK520 225/55r16 tires - approx 3000 miles
-Prothane suspension bushings (4 control arm bushings and rear sway bar bushings installed, trailing arm bushings and shifter bushings have not been installed yet) - Installed about 3k miles ago.
-New OEM Subaru lower ball joints - Installed about 3k miles ago at the same time as the prothane bushings.
-17mm FHI Rear sway bar
-20mm FHI Front sway bar (not installed but included with the vehicle)
-04-07 STi Style hood scoop
-STi TMIC splitter with intercooler sprayer (not installed but included)
-STi V6 replica wing from Bakemono Imports.
-STi OEM foglight covers
-Shaved door moldings
-JDM Ver.6 Taillights
-Omori Boost gauge
-Black Housing Headlights
-Black housing Corners
The goods:
-Full STi swapped with working AVCS
-Lightly modded
-Clean title
-No CEL's and passes emissions no prob.
The bads:
-Car needs a colorsand and buff. Since I was going to use this as a rally project, I was content with a quick single stage, Aspen White paint job.
-No A/C - I don't have the parts to reinstall a/c but it shouldn't be a huge deal.
-Throwout bearing makes noise when clutch is pressed in. Still works fine but should be replaced next time the engine or trans is pulled.
-Driver side door is a little banged up on the door edge.
-Passenger sidemarker clip broke (I will fix/replace it this week)
-A little bit of light overspray in the interior (Most of it has been removed and I'm going to be cleaning more of it up this week.)
-Needs a rear speaker parcel shelf for the interior to be complete
