FS: OH 04 STi 51k miles Local AutoX Champ 1 owner lots of extras
I'm selling my 04 STi. I've had it since brand new. Its a 1 owner car. It's always been garaged. It only has 51k miles on it.
This car is set up great and in great shape. Locally in ASP class I got first place in it and my wife got second place in 2012. I did not do any racing of any kind in it in 2013 and 2014 so far.
Mods
Scroth 4 point harness specifically designed for STi
Tein Flex Coilovers with EDFC
Whiteline 27mm sway bars
Kartboy endlinks
Hawk HP+ pads
ATE blue brake fluid
18x9.5 Rota Grid wheels
265/35R18 Star spec tires
Cobb stage 2 map
Cobb AP V1
Cobb Street tuner software
Cobb catless turboback exhaust
Cobb short ram intake
Cobb turbo heat shield
Cleared headlights with reflective coated bulbs. bulbs are in tail lights too
Trunk Monkey
Condition
Exterior: 7.5/10
By that I mean its in better shape exterior-wise than 75% of the 04 STi's I've seen. It has some rock chips and a few small nickel sized dents and a bit of a scrape on the plastic rear bumper. Since it's been garaged its whole life oxidation of the paint or headlight plastic is non-existent. When the car was only a few weeks old a power line whipped it on the roof which required minor paintless dent removal.
Interior: 9.5/10
By that I mean its in better shape interior-wise than 95% of the 04 STi's I've seen. In fact, I've never seen one in as good of shape but I'm sure there's on out there. There is nothing to talk about here, everything looks like it did when I bought it.
Mechanical: 9/10
Everything works fine on the car. I only give it a 9 because the coilovers are getting old and I have no idea how long they are supposed to last. They have about 25k on them and still act the same way they did when new. They always made noises since brand new, noises I've never heard on coilovers before or since, but I've never been in another car with Tein Flex coilovers. They have never given me any reason to doubt their function. One of the Rota's is a little bent causing a minor steering vibration at speeds you shouldn't be driving at anyways.
History
For many years this was my second car. It was only 09 that I started daily driving it. It did a 20 mile round trip all highway commute to work 5 days a week from 09 thru 12. I've been Autocrossing it for the past few years fairly religiously but not in 2013 or 2014. I've road raced it a handful of times. It's never given me any reason to doubt it. I do drive it in the winter. About 15k miles ago I had Slick Motorsports replace the clutch, resurface the flywheel, give it a new throwout bearing and all that. The new clutch is still OEM and is holding strong. I replaced one of the brembo calipers this spring because a bleeder hole was stripped (they had never been touched prior to that) causing it to leak and I didn't have time to helicoil it. Its gotten oil and filter religiously every 3k miles. If you know turbo subarus you know this is important.

Yeah they've probably still got a couple months left in them.
Those tires and wheels are off and being stored in bags in my garage now.
The stock gold BBS's are back on with blizzaks for now.
