The Buschur Racing Genesis Coupe has entered the building!

Friday morning around 10:30am I got a call from Tim Tweed down at Hatfield Hyundai in Columbus to let me know that the car finally arrived. I immediately left the shop and made the 2 hour trip down there to pick it up. I had already done all of my paper work over the phone so all I had to do was sign some papers and I was back on the road. 2 hours back north to the shop.

The dealership contact info:
Hatfield Hyundai
1400 Auto Mall Drive
Columbus,OH 43228
Phone: 800-466-8139
Contact: TD Howland (salesman)
Hatfield Hyundai, New Hyundai dealership in Columbus, OH 43228

I arrived at the shop a bit late and rushed around in order to make my engagements that I had for that evening. I ended up forgetting my camera cable so after I arrived back at my house I realized I could not post the pictures and living a half hour one way from the shop and a complete weekend full of plans I was unable to get them up right away. My apologies.

As some of you know I was very torn between the Grey and White when ordering the car a few months ago. I originally ordered the Nordschleife Grey..... with seeing all of the Nordschleife Grey Coupe's popping up recently I wanted to be some what different. I just so happened to be blessed enough that there was also a Karrusel White track package Coupe on the same truck as the Nordschleife Grey that I ordered. I was able to make the change last Monday. Im very glad I did change. I absolutely love the white.

Engine: 2.0T
Transmission: 6spd Manual
Package: Track
Color: Karussel White

While discussing the car over the weekend the phrase "Deuce Coupe" popped up. Since it is a 2 liter... and its a Coupe it fits quite well.

Without further ado I give you the..... Buschur Racing Deuce Coupe!

At the dealer:

Home at the BR new stable:

I got to the shop this morning and the first thing we did was strap the car onto the dyno. I will be making a thread first thing tomorrow with some technical info in it including a quick base line pull video that I took.

We were able to add a few parts to the car today.

For more detailed and in depth info on the Coupe and what we're doing with it please check out GENESISFORUMS.ORG.

I will do my best to update this thread as much as possible though.

Stay tuned as we dissect the Coupe.

cool, so what do you guys think that 4b11(G) aluminum block will be able to take? You planning on sleaving it, or what? BTW I'm suprised it's white. HA

Looking good Bro. I want a ride Please I'll buy you Fly, Nagoya???????

I'm not surprised you went for the White. Your Evo was the reason I wish mine was white.

Can't wait to see the progress on this one for sure. Man, that car just looks sexy!

Thank you guys! Your support is always appreciated no matter what we do or what platform. I truly feel the Coupe is going to be a great car. Its very well put together. There really isnt anything about it that I dont like.

I will do a more indepth review tomorrow on my experience of the car after driving it over the weekend for 300 miles.

Haha!

Ive heard the white comment a few times already. It makes me chuckle.

White is a good color for us. Its always proved to be a fast color for Buschur Racing... now with the Coupe we just need to make it fast.

i would have to say NO to it being the next supra. No offense but the Toyota Supra was and still is such a sick *** car being inline 6cyl turbo. I dont think this will ever have an impact the way the supra did

I would have to very much agree.

The Supra is a car thats in a league of its own. Its a classic import "muscle" car.

If it started with ~100 more HP and about 400 less pounds, then yes, it could be the next Supra.
